2 held for involvement in 200 snatching cases
New Delhi: The special staff of south Delhi Police on Saturday arrested two persons involved in more than 200 cases of snatching in different parts of the city.
"The accused identified as Manoj Kumar Misra (28) involved in 109 cases whereas his accomplice Manish Kumar (38) has committed 100 cases," police said.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Vijay Kumar said that on interrogation both accused person has disclosed that they had committed more than fifty cases of snatching in the area of South, South-East, Central, North, North-East, East, Shahdara, Outer, and Rohini Districts.
They have also confessed that they had mortgage some of the snatched gold jewellery at a finance company in Mandawali Fazalpur branch
Delhi. In another case three burglars who targeted PG's and hostels arrested by South Delhi Police. The accused were identified as Mohammad Shahfaiz (24), Ibne Ali (26) and Abdul Rehman.
