2 found dead with bullet injury marks

Greater Noida: Two youths were found dead with bullet injuries inside the bushes at a service lane of Surajpur-Dadri road near Metro station depot on Tuesday morning.

Police have found a .315mm country made pistol lying near the bodies and suspect that they might have killed each other.

According to police, the deceased were identified as Rahul, a resident of Shiv Vatika Colony and Kuldeep Nagar, a native of Dadri area.

Cops said that around 8am on Tuesday, a passerby spotted the dead bodies in the bushes and informed the police about it. Soon after this a police team rushed to the spot and sent the bodies for an autopsy.

"The deceased who have appeared to be in their twenties have sustained bullet injuries in neck and chest respectively. Police have found no ID card or mobile phone with the dead body which also indicates that they might have been murdered. We have also found a an illegal pistol in the hands of one of the deceased and we suspect that the accused might have tried to mislead police. It appears that they were killed while their bodies have been dumped in night," said Jitendra Deekhit, Station House Officer at Surajpur Police Station.

The officer further said that a case of murder and criminal conspiracy was filed after the incidnet on the basis of a complaint by an Ex chairman of the neighboring Junpat village. The police have sent the bodies for autopsy and reports are awaited.

Deceased's family told police that both were friends and they had left their homes on Monday night with 5-6 other friends in a car, "The families have revealed names of 5-6 men who were with the deceased a night before they were found dead, a team was sent to look for them but they were found to be missing from home. We are tracking them in order to ascertain the truth and actions will be taken," said Deekshit.
