2 burglars held; 50 burglaries case in NCR solved

New Delhi: The crime branch of Delhi police have arrested two burglars who used to target high profile houses in Delhi and Gurgaon.

Police said the accused were illegally residing in India and has already committed more than 50 burglaries in Delhi, Gurgaon, Bangalore and Gujarat. Police claimed that they have committed more than 15 burglaries recently.

They have been identified as Mohd. Roshan alias Raju Mulla (31) and Mohd. Rabbi Hawladhar (27). "One gold ring and two antique silver tumblers were recovered from their possession. Recovered articles were found to be stolen from Palam Vihar, Gurgaon," said DCP (Crime) Dr Ram Gopal Naik. The DCP said that during interrogation they confessed that they are members of a gang of six thieves who operate together.
