16-year-old boy stabbed for talking to girl, 2 arrested

New Delhi: Two persons were arrested for stabbing a 16-year-old boy in Budh Vihar area of Rohini. Police said that the accused wanted to teach a lesson to the victim for talking to a girl.

They also hurled fake allegations of harassment on the victim. Police identified the accused as Jony (23) and Kala (21). Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) SD Mishra said that on September 17, a PCR call was received in Budh Vihar police station.

On enquiry, it was revealed that a quarrel had taken place between some boys and the injured. He had sustained stab injuries in his abdomen and grievous injuries on his head.

DCP Rohini further said that both the accused disclosed that victim used to stalk the girlfriend of one of their friends due to which he incurred inimical feeling towards him.

DCP Mishra said that the allegation of stalking turned out to be fake.
