Delhi Tourism gets a high

Tourism in Delhi gets a fresh lease as DTTDC and Doordarshan sign an MOU today for promoting Delhi. Creating a synergy between the two platforms, Doordarshan and DTTDC are looking out to explore the possibilities for strengthening Delhi tourism.

The MOU was signed at the office of the DG, Doordarshan by Tripurari Sharan, Director General, Doordarshan and  GG Saxena, MD and CEO, DTTDC in the presence of DD Bharati’s Channel Head, Usha Bhasin and other senior officers of both the organizations. The two organisations will combine their resources for utilization of infrastructure, logistics and technical know how to embolden Delhi’s image as a tourist hub in the world.
As a part of this understanding DTTDC will facilitate Doordashan with regard to preparation  of exclusive stories in order to promote tourism in Delhi on various themes. The themes emphasise upon subjects such as inscription of Delhi as a World Heritage City, lesser known monuments of Delhi, sound and light show at GTB Memorial, Dilli Haats, boating, HOHO Bus Service, trees in Delhi, parks of Delhi, education in tourism etc.
