Delhi govt cancels Meena’s SHO transfer order

A day after chief of <g data-gr-id="25">Anti Corruption</g> Branch M K Meena transferred Station House Officer (SHO) Vinay Malik and appointed Brij Mohan as the new SHO of the ACB, Delhi government has cancelled the order. 

“ACB is part of Directorate of Vigilance, therefore any work allocation order can be passed only after obtaining the approval of Director of DOV. In this case, no such approval was obtained <g data-gr-id="21">and</g> therefore, the order is cancelled,” said an order issued by SK Jain, Director of DOV on Tuesday. 

Jain, in the same order, cancelled two more orders passed by Meena on Monday. Meena, who is also Joint Commissioner of Police of New Delhi range had transferred Malick soon after he was allowed to work as chief of ACB by the Delhi high court on Monday. 

In his order, Jain has quoted transaction of business rules to justify his decision which gives powers to Delhi government in various matters.
