Contrasting styles on display

A profound collection of art, with paintings from all over the country, were brought together at an exhibition titled- ‘Synergy of Talent’, organised by an art curator, Vikram Sethi.  

The event took place at ITC Sheraton Hotel in the national Capital from April 30 to May 11 where paintings depicted a life of its own and each painting derived beauty from the painter’s soul.

Emerging talented artists namely, Rashmie Tyagi, Ambereen Dharamsey, Rosalind Malik, Anita Dinesh, Chandana Bhattarcharjee, Meher, and Jatin Chowdhery depicted their unique artworks. Cynthia Federicks, advisor to the Maharaja of Kapurthala was the Guest of Honour and she expressed immense delight after looking at the paintings.

Artist Rashmie Tyagi from Mumbai presented different forms and textures through abstract expressions in bright hues merging with vivid patterns. 

It gave an impression of a static electricity on the canvas. Her painting was also recently bought by actor Hrithik Roshan and he praised and thanked her for the same.

Paintings by Abereen Dharamsey which showed the Mumbai city landscapes were also ecstatic with vbrant colours. An Artist from Delhi, Rosalind Malik presented her painting in a distinct European style and a special Moulin Rouge way depicting myriad figures in bright colours.

 Artists like Chandana Bhattarcharjee and Anita Dinesh painted spiritual figures and depicted them in a pretty serene manner.

Vikram Sethi has won the Bharat Nirman award for the best art curator of the year 2015.
