On hearing about the incident, some police constables reached the spot to bring the situation under control. When they tried to stop the violence some of the youth led an attack on police personnel.
The youth from the two local clubs attacked each other with stick, rod. The Police on Sunday arrested two persons in this connection. They were later released on bail. The incident had created panic in the area. Senior police officer in the district, however, denied that the constable was attacked by the youth from the local clubs.
