Cong leaders reach out to Mulayam for support to Food Bill

With the Food Security Bill slated to come up in the Lok Sabha for consideration on Tuesday, Congress on Monday reached out to Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav for his support for the legislation and government saying it is ready accept any amendment which is ‘workable’. Food minister K V Thomas, along with parliamentary affairs minister Kamal Nath and Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s political secretary Ahmed Patel met Yadav.
