Colleges run by teacher-in charges to get permanent principals
State Education Minister Partha Chatterjee on Friday said that colleges run by teacher-in-charges will have permanent principals soon.
There are around 800 vacant posts in different colleges which will be filled up soon by newly recruited professors, Chatterjee added at state secretariat Nabanna. However, he also said, the registrar and Vice-Chancellor of Jadavpur Univeristy will be called up to discuss the situation at the campus. It will be recalled that certain professors’ body have called cease work on Friday.
