CM to visit Bandwan on November 19

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is expected to visit Bandwan in Purulia in the Jangalmahal on November 19.
She is expected to inaugurate a host of projects for Maoist-hit districts even after the central government slashed the Backward Region Grants Fund. Banerjee had visited Bandwan around 31 years ago.
Incidentally, before the Trinamool government took charge of Bengal, Bandwan was one of the areas which was affected largely by Maoists.
