City students score big at global varsities

Delhi Technological University (DTU) students have been selected for academic programmes in top international universities around the world including several admission offers by top ten and Ivy League universities in the US and UK.

The top ten universities offering admissions to DTU students include Stanford University, USA, Carnegie Mellon University, USA, Cornell University, USA, University of Michigan and Duke University, USA.

While expressing his happiness PB Sharma, vice chancellor of DTU Universirty said that 'DTU has a strong focus on its educational and research programmes. This way we equip our students with the wings of knowledge and power of innovation so much needed for excelling in the international arena'.

Arushi Arora final year student of Engineering Physics has been selected for MS program of Stanford University and Ph.D program in University of Michigan, USA, she said that 'To get accepted to Stanford University is a dream come true for me. I owe a large part of this success to all my teachers, my branch, Engineering Physics, whose updated course curriculum is at par with what is being taught at universities abroad and blessings of my family and friends.' Aditya Ganjoo final year student of Electrical Engineering has been selected for MS program of Carnegie Mellon University, USA. He said that ' I'm thrilled to have been accepted to prestigious universities such as CMU and Texas AnM. I owe my success to my parents who supported me throughout and to my college, where I honed my skills and developed my interest.'

Jayant Chaudhary final year student of Electronics & Electrical Engineering has been selected for MS programme of Carnegie Mellon University, USA, 'I am pleased to have been accepted at the Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Texas at Dallas and Arizona State University. Being from the first batch of EEE at DTU, I would like to  thank my professors,’ said Jayant. Akshit Peer final year student of Software Engineering has been selected for MS program of University of Michigan. He said that 'I felt extremely ecstatic when I received admit offers for MS (Electrical Engineering) from the University of Michigan, Columbia University and the University of Minnesota.’
