Chit fund: CMD held on charge of duping investors

The Odisha’s Crime Branch on Sunday arrested the chairman and managing director of a chit fund company on charges of duping investors of over Rs 50 crore. Deb Kumar Panda, CMD of Vista Management Services Ltd, was arrested from the railway station, SP-EOW Rajendra Patnaik said.

Panda was apprehended while he was going to  board a train to Visakhapatnam and was then supposed to fly to Singapore, Patnaik said, adding, his passport, visa, ticket, hotel booking receipt and foreign currency were seized.
