Vistara partners with Avis to offer car rental services to passengers

New Delhi: Full-service carrier Vistara has entered into a partnership with car rental firm Avis India to enable passengers to book their travels to and from airports through the airline's website. The tie-up will allow Vistara's customers to avail Avis car rental services, including both chauffeur-driven as well as self-driven cars, across 20 cities.

"Customers booked on a Vistara flight can opt for this service at the time of booking a ticket or later, through the 'Enhance My Booking' option on the airline's website," Vistara said in a statement.
Members of Vistara Club will also get reward points, the airline added. Vistara operates a fleet of 16 Airbus A320 aircraft and provides services to 21 destinations. Avis, owned by Avis Budget Group, is present in more than 5,200 locations across more than 168 countries.
Its Indian arm is a joint-venture between Avis Budget Group and Oberoi Group with presence in 20 locations including New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.
