Accenture sets up innovation hub in Bengaluru

Accenture on Thursday announced the setting up of its first Innovation Hub in Bengaluru -- a centre that will help the company to work with clients to identify and develop solutions based on new technologies.

More than 4,000 people will work at the Innovation Hub, combining research and development capabilities, deep industry insights, creativity and technology skills, Accenture said in a statement.
Accenture, however, did not disclose any investment details related to the centre.
The teams will work on creating and delivering solutions based on digital, cloud and security-related technologies, helping clients develop new products and services and create more personalised customer experiences.
"This groundbreaking new facility gives clients an unparallelled opportunity to understand, experiment with, adopt and quickly scale new and emerging technologies to unlock new value," Mohan Sekhar, senior managing director of Accenture Technology Services, said.
The Innovation Hub will house Accenture Lab, Accenture Liquid Studio, Accenture Innovation Centre and Avanade.
