Snatchers strike again; 2 journos & elderly woman robbed

NEW DELHI: Snatchers struck thrice in 24 hours in the capital, with two journalists and an elderly woman being targeted. A journalist Pushkar Banakar, a resident of Jangpura, was attacked by two bike-borne men near Ashram in South East Delhi who snatched his cell-phone and sped away. In his complaint to the police, the journalist said that the incident occurred at 10.15 am when he was travelling in an auto. In another incident, Eva Thakur, an intern working with a media firm, was attacked outside the Kailash Colony metro station on Sunday evening. An elderly woman's chain was snatched by robbers outside her house in North East Delhi's Jyoti Nagar. See P4
