Lok Sabha passes IIM Bill

While the Lok Sabha is functioning smoothly, Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the day over resignation of MLAs in Gujarat at a time when Rajya Sabha elections are approaching.

Today marks the end of second week of Monsoon Session. Both Houses of Parliament took up Private Members Bills. Rajya Sabha had to be adjourned four times and later for the day after Congress alleged that their MLAs in Gujarat were being abducted in the State.

The Lok Sabha passed the IIM Bill.
