6 dead as train engine runs over them in Hapur

Hapur: Six people were killed, while one other was severely injured when a train engine ran over them in Pilkhua area at Delhi-Moradabad rail track here late on Sunday night.
Government Railway Police (GRP) Pilkhua station in-charge Sarvej Khan here on Monday said that a train engine moving towards Hapur from Ghaziabad crushed seven people sitting on rail track near Pilkhua railway station.
While Arif, Saleem, Sammer, Vijay and Aakash died on the spot, Rahul and one another received severe injuries, Mr Khan said, adding that Rahul succumbed to his injuries in a hospital during treatment.
The condition of other injured was stated to be stable, he said.
