Big B’s every performance deserves award: Aishwarya

Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan says her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan’s every performance deserves an award.

Asked for her reaction to Amitabh winning the National Award for Piku, she said: “It’s not the first time and we are very proud of Paa... he has won his award yet again. His every performance deserves to be celebrated. Thank you on behalf of paa and we love him and god bless him.”

This is Big B’s fourth National Award. He has won the coveted award for his performances in Agneepath (1990), Black (2005) and Paa (2009).

Everybody wanted to celebrate this big win including Bachchan’s family members. Aishwarya, who was last seen in 2015’s Jazbaa, will soon be seen in Omung Kumar’s Sarbjit, co-starring Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadha.
