Ash not a part of Sarkar 3

Ramgopal Varma is mulling the Sarkar franchise again. However, it will not be a complete Bachchan family affair as many would have thought so far. Varma, whose upcoming flick Department is slated to release on May 18. While Bachchan senior plays a 'nasty Sarkar' in Department, the senior actor will team up with son Abhishek for Sarkar 3. However, Bachchan bahu Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who recently gave birth to daughter Aaradhya, will not be a part of the flick.
“Sarkar 3 is being planned..Amitji nd Abhishek wil feature in it bt contrary 2 reports Aishwarya won't be..script is still under progress,” Varma posted on microblogging site Twitter.
In the 2005 movie, Amitabh played Subhash Nagre 'Sarkar' an Indian politician. The movie was widely hailed as the Indian version of Godfather and went on to become a cult film.
Department is being projected as a gripping action drama with men at their raw, powerful best. Amitabh essays the role of Sarjeroa, a Machiavellian character whose power lies in his manipulation and deception, Varma had earlier said.
