Andrew Garfield to star in Angels in America

Andrew Garfield is returning to the stage at Britain’s National Theatre in a revival of Tony Kushner’s AIDS drama Angels in America.

The Amazing Spider Man actor had earned a Tony Award nomination for his last stage gig, and will tackle the lead role of a gay who is visited by an angel after his lover leaves him upon learning of his AIDS diagnosis.
