Add Bhangra to your aerobics routine

Tried everything but don’t know why you still cannot get rid of those nagging calories which just keep piling up? We got aerobics expert Vishal Thukral, fitness instructor at one of the best gyms in Chandigarh, to share tips on how aerobics could be your best bet to lose weight.

Aerobics is a form of physical exercise that combines rhythmic exercise with stretching and strength training with the goal of improving all elements of fitness including flexibility, muscular strength and cardio-vascular fitness.

It is usually performed to music and practised in groups led by an instructor. Sessions include floor and step aerobics combined with various body-toning exercises including Surya namaskar, dumb bells, medicine balls, stability balls etc.

For achieving maximum level of fitness, a few minutes of Bhangra session in a week will add flavour to the workout routines, says Thukral.
