Addressing the meet, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday asked his party workers to focus on those states where the party can win the elections.

The new entrants are Yamini Gomar, Rajendra Pal Gautam, Preeti Sharma Menon, Durgesh Pathak, Bhagwant Mann, Kanu Bhai Kalsaria, Harjot Bains, Baljinder Kaur, Raghav Chadha, Ashish Talwar, Atishi Marlena, Sadhu Singh, Dinesh Vaghela, Meera Sanyal, Bhawna Gaur, Rakhi Birla, Imran Hussain and Amanatullah Khan.

The members include party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, Gopal Rai, Pankaj Gupta, Ashutosh and Kumar Vishwas.

“The world is appreciating the AAP government. Centre is trying it’s best to scuttle our efforts, but still we are moving ahead and working for the people of Delhi. We promised cheapest electricity and have delivered on it. We have 24-hour power supply in Delhi. Our opponents said we won’t be able to supply uninterrupted power, but we are providing it and that too on cheapest rates. Provided 20 thousand litre of water to each family for free. In fact, Delhi is saving huge amounts of water,”  said Kejriwal.

He further added: “They said Jal Board will go in loses after providing cheap water. Last fiscal the Jal Board made profits tuning to Rs 176 crore. Our government waived off water bills worth Rs 2,500 crore. Pipelines were laid in 263 new colonies last year and almost 100 per cent would be covered in 2017. The Centre has done nothing, they say we will do this by 2023, because they know they won’t be in power then,” said Kejriwal.

The AAP supremo added:  “We are not here only to fight elections. We are here to change the system. We will fight to win. Work so that people come with us. We will fight elections but before that we have to work hard. We have to fight elections to win 90 seats out of 100. We will fight elections to make governments and change the system.”

Meanwhile, Kejriwal was on Wednesday re-elected as the National Convenor of AAP even as the party effected a major overhaul of its top brass.

The PAC has also appointed Pankaj Gupta as the national secretary and Raghav Chadha as the treasurer of the party. All the PAC members are National Executive members.
