59-yr-old engineer commits suicide

A 59-year-old junior engineer of Metro railways committed suicide by jumping out from the window of a toilet at TS Memorial Hospital in Bansdroni on Monday morning. 

Police said the victim C Pachaiyappan went out for morning when he received minor injuries while returning home. 

His son took him to the hospital where he was undergoing treatment. He went to toilet situated on the second floor and jumped out after breaking the window pane. 

Pachaiyappan died on the spot. His body has been sent for post-mortem. Police said the exact reason that forced him to commit suicide was to be ascertained.
