3 day ‘Mukhosh Mela’ held

The three-day unique mask fair (Mukhosh mela), supported by Department of Cottage and Small scale industries and the local Gramin and Hasto Silpo Samannay Samity (Village and Handicraft Coordination Committee) ended at Mahisbathan in South Dinajpur district today.

The fair showcased the work of local artisans whose mask also got appreciation in the country and at Paris, the organisers said.

Students of NIFT and some members of faculty came to the fair to facilitate the promotion of the products of the artistes through e-commerce, an organising committee spokesman said. Local folk artistes performed on all the three days.
